Conflict Sheets/Rehearsal

Hey again, guys. Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving.

I need everyone's conflict sheets ASAP. List what, when, and where and turn the completed sheet in to me.

A quick reminder for rehearsal on December 11th- It's from 9 AM to 5 PM. I know that that conflicts with some Shades Valley students who were planning on working the Pancake Breakfast, but we'll talk about it.
Any questions, please email me.

SCHOOL MATINEES:  FEBRUARY 22-25 @ 9:30 AM

I don’t know how fast you will learn this music.  Since virtually everyone is in the Storyteller’s music, we will start at the top and learn it as we go.  I will be able to amend the schedule once I see how well we do.  It is imperative that you make rehearsals and spend time outside of rehearsal going over your part.

I WILL GET SPECIFIC WITH TRHE SCHEDULE AS SOON AS I SEE HOW FAST WE ARE GOING.  NOT EVERYONE WILL BE CALLED ALL OF THE TIME.

PLEASE REMEMBER TO BRING PENCILS AND A RECORDING DEVICE. -Roy Hudson.

    Quick and (almost) Painless. :)

Callbacks went well you guys, thanks so much for your effort and time. I could tell that Mr. Hudson was impressed by what he saw and I'm confident that he will cast the show brilliantly. You're talent is overwhelming, people. I'm so glad I got to meet everyone and I'm so excited!

Now that they're over, the cast list should be up soon. And by soon I mean next week or maybe even the week after that. I'll post the cast list here and make an announcement on my Facebook, so all the nonvallies can see their role. I'll also post the schedule here once it's up and running, but be prepared to start rehearsals soon after the cast is posted.

Once we start I'll be taking care of Music and Script distribution, but we'll talk about that later. Questions go to my email or facebook. Thank you.

    Sheet Music for Callbacks

I believe I've let everyone know by now, but all non-vallies (students who don't attend Shades Valley High School) need to pick up their music at VST. If you ARE a Shades Valley student who received a callback, you should have gotten your music from Julia.

Callbacks are soon, so practice hard. :)

If you have a problem or question, email/facebook/text me. We've had trouble with people being given the wrong sheet music and if that happens I need to know about it so I can make sure you get the correct music and chew Lucas out properly. No, I'm totally kidding, Lucas is doing a great job juggling all this and the show he's currently working on, The Last 5 Years. (Which is gonna be AMAZING, by the way)

One Last Thing: Okay, this is important. I have emailed Eric Marable about his callback and he has yet to reply. If anyone knows him personally or knows an alternate way i can contact him, I'd be eternally grateful for such information. Thank you. :)

    Introduction(:

Hey, it's Lacey, the SM for CoE. I've typed that sentence atleast twenty times this week. Like you dont even know.
Anyway, it was Grayson Cusimano's brilliant idea to make a blogspot concerning this show. Do you REALLY think that someone will care to update the website? No, you dont. And I needed to find a way to keep everyone updated, so this is what GC and I came up with.

    Important People:
    • Myself. I'll be your stage manager for this show. That means it's my job to keep you updated on rehearsal schedule changes, due dates for stuff, etcetra.
    • Roy Hudson. The director. Clearly an important individual.
    • Lucas Pepke. He works at VST and is someone you may or not be seeing a lot of. Any questions concerning the theatre itself go to him.
    • Julia Simpson. Your adorable choreographer.
    • Ben. The tech guy for VST. Fear him.

    Important Stuff:

    • Callbacks are October 23rd, at VST, from 1pm to 4pm. Your sheet music is ready to be picked up at VST from Lucas.
    •  My email is pheonixdown@rocketmail.com if you have any questions. Though you could always just facebook me.
    • If you've worked with us before, then you know that rehearsal schedules are never set in stone, but they usually dont stray to far from the original plan.
    • Please be nice to eachother! I know it's difficult for some of us, like myself, to be nice to EVERYONE, but the show goes so much smoother if we can all bare with one another for a couple hours.
    • It's really important to always bring a pencil to rehearsal.

I'm REALLY looking forward to this show. Break a leg at callbacks, i'll see you there. :)
